Easter round up

It’s been a busy Easter weekend for us and despite a lot of in between bits where I spent an exhaustingly drawn out period of time listening to JJ ask me “what can we do now?”, here are some of the more fun things we got up to:

On Easter Saturday we went to Osterley House and Park for one of the National Trust/Caburys Easter Egg Trails (and yes I realised I have spawned a miniature Bob the Builder here):

A day at Manydown Farm, Hampshire

I don’t normally spend a huge amount of time with the munchkins during the week as JJ is at school and I work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This week however, it being half-term, I knew that I would have both boys on Tuesday as well as Friday as our childminders were off to Dubai (lucky things!). Ever since I began reading a few blog posts with photographs of Halloween activities and pumpkin patches I had decided that I wanted to visit one with the boys and this was the perfect time to do it.

Word of the Week: Momentum


I’m not sure why I got so motivated to get on and do ‘things’ with the blog these last couple of weeks, but I have finally undertaken some stuff that several of my more successful compatriots got on with about 10 months ago!
After going self-hosted a couple of weeks ago I have been adding various useful tools and widgets and then, after what was, really, quite a brief brainstorm, I decided to take the bull by the horns and launch my very own, very first linky, The Truth about… which went live on Tuesday.
